Good morning,

I am trying to exclude negative numbers from my calculations:  Below is an example.

proc freq data=work.'combined file _ mcos hcbs cahps'n;

tables 'q_84'n;

var >0;

run;

I am receiving the below error:

180

ERROR 180-322: Statement is not valid or it is used out of proper order.\

What am I doing wrong?  Thank you Steve K.

Hi @c-skissner  Your question seems little ambiguous. Do you have a variable by the name VAR that you want to filter from the input? Is this what you mean?

proc freq data=work.'combined file _ mcos hcbs cahps'n;
where var >0;
tables 'q_84'n;
run;
