Hi,

I have a sas dataset and in that dataset I have a column and there we should have 4 record in that column. for ie. JAN,FEB,MAR,APR. if any one is missing then its an issue and i have another icolumn with the name issue and that should get updated if any value is missing.

4 records only?

Why do you need SAS ?

Why do you need to automate ?

2 to 3 mins manual work will do plus that will help keep people stay employed 🙂

This is because those 4 records can be duplicates. and it can reach to million.

thanks,

Abhishek

You need to provide a lot more details of your actual problem. Please post a small sample data set and expected output, which would help a lot more.

For example, how do you know what values should exist? To me if I find Jan, Feb, March, I would say March is not correct because its more than 3 letters?
How do you know you need 4 rows?
