global options

hi.. i am using,
Release: 3.8 (Enterprise Edition), mid tier
SAS platform: Linux LIN X64 3.10.0-693.21.1.el7.x86_64

i am unable to use many global options like ps, ls, date, number, pageno etc
can you please help me to figure out the problem and solve it

Most of those likely only apply to ODS LISTING and the default has changed to HTML about 10 years ago. I'm going to guess you're either using an outdated tutorial or book. I would recommend taking the free SAS e-course available from SAS directly.
