SAS folks-

I have been looking in the documentation for a SAS function for converting latitude/longitude from degrees minutes seconds to decimal degrees.

I could use the formula

VALUE = (degrees) + (minutes/60) + (seconds/3600);

but was looking for a shortcut.

Thanks for your help!

I've been using SAS for GIS related work for many years, and I am not aware of anything.

If you use this often, you can write your own function using proc fcmp.
