I have a dataset which has some of the id's multiple and i n that case i only want the first.

 

For example if i have like below table i only need id 101 for type as A and not B record same with 103.

any help

ID type lcd vis
101 A cust 1
101 B cust 1
102 A cust 2
103 A cust 1
103 B cust 1
104 A sal 3
104 B sal 4

Use the first functionality in the data step e.g.

data aaa;
 set your_table;
 by id;
 if first.id then output;
run;
