export to excel "ERROR: The width of <variable> is not between 1 and 102.

I am exporting dataset to excel file however, length of my variable string is 150$ so I assigned that, but when am proc reprting getting an erro

"ERROR: The width of "<variable>" is not between 1 and 102. Adjust the column width or line size. 

but I never assigned the line size  how to fix this error.

Can you post the code and the log please?  Please use the SAS code and the other code (for the log) button. 🙂

Hi Jim, thanks for suggestion, I am new to this community, I will do as next time onwards. Also found the solution for my question. I need to close the destination or any similar files, in my case, I need to close all excel files before I run the program. because it predetermining the length based on the open file.
