Hello
I am creating a data set that has long characters.
It is in Hebrew language.
I don't  know why in the output data set I have only 3 rows while I entered 6 rows

 


Data tbl;
informat x $200.;
input x $200.;
cards;
אאאאא אאאאא
הההההה דדדדד דד בב
כככככ ררררר ייי ככ
ייייי סססס ככ
ייי עעע כככ+גגגג  גג
כככעי גגגג

run;

Hi @Ronein  That's happening bcoz of automative FLOWOVER default in reading variable length records that makes SAS to read the next dataline into the input buffer to read until the specified length defined in the informat. To override that, you need TRUNCOVER
