I have my base table in Teradata which is connected with the SAS.

now I need to take the backup of the table as a SAS Dataset.

i.e first I need to convert the Teradata table as a SAS Dataset and then need to download it.

Please specify how SAS and teradata are connected.

If a libref is assigned to the teradata-db, then assigning another libref to the folder in which the datasets should be stored and using proc copy can solve the issue.
