Hello

I want to create two sas macro variables using proc sql with Into statement

What is wrong with following code syntax?

PROC SQL  noprint;
	select 	sum( SUM_Sales_Region) into:  PGrand_Total_Sales,
	                sum(Customers_Region) into :  PCustomers_Region
	from outcome1
;
QUIT;

First select variables then macro variables 🙂

Easier to read if you move the : to the macro variables.

PROC SQL  noprint;
	select 	sum( SUM_Sales_Region), sum(Customers_Region)  into :PGrand_Total_Sales, :PCustomers_Region
	from outcome1
;
QUIT;

  into :v1, :v2

%put &v1.;
