I have a sas dataset with 2 continuous variables (say x and y) and the data set has been sorted on x.

I want to create about 50 bins on x and for each of these bins, I want to calculated the mean of both x and y.

So, the output dataset will have 50 values for x and y.

Thanks

1. Use PROC RANK to BIN the data

2. Use PROC MEANS to calculate the summary statistics
