I have a dataset of 3000 observations and three variables which one of them is ID. How can I add 80 more records to ID after the last record while the value for the other two variables be replaced with missing? My SAS version is 9.3.

  • Use END to identify the last record
  • Use an explicit OUTPUT to output the reocrds
  • Use a DO loop to loop 80 times

data want;
    set sashelp.class end=eof;
    output;

    if eof then
        do i=1 to 80;
            call missing(of age, weight, height);
            output;
        end;

drop i;
run;
