You do not have permission to write to the specified SAS server directory" when creating new project

I am a student using SAS Enterprise Miner 14.1.

When I try to create my first new project, I am given one option for SAS Server: SASApp - Logical Workspace Server. It will not let me click to change it. After clicking next, I name my project and notice I am not given the option to change my SAS Server Directory. (It's just home/username). Click next again and this error pops up: "PERMISSION DENIED. You do not have permission to write to the specified SAS server directory." Yet, it will not let me edit the SAS Server. 

Any ideas?

Check with your SAS server admin if he/she can fix the authorization problem.

Is it

home/username

or

/home/username

?

It should be the second.

If yes, I concur with @LinusH. Your user was created incorrectly (no write permission to the home directory).
