Hi, I was applying for SAS a programmer position, and they ask for writing sample below where you upload your resume. My questions are what someone suppose to put in their writing about SAS? Is there a formula how to present it? Are there examples of such project?
Thank you

From what information you provided, I'm assuming they want an example of your SAS coding i.e. some code you wrote to solve some problem.
If I were the recruiter I'd be looking to see how you layout your code, comments, variable names and the logic.
Still I'm guessing/assuming.

In that case I would write about a particular SAS project that I did. So you will need to describe the project, how you designed a solution, challenges you faced during building and testing, then how you successfully implemented the solution.

If you are not clear about the purpose of the writing sample ask for it. Do they just want to evaluate your general writing skills or writing skills specific to creating a program specification or documentation?
