Will not import EXCEL proc import problems since OFFICE 2016 upgrade (EXCEL).

Have a PROC IMPORT that was running fine until I updated to OFFICE 2016 (from OFFICE 2010)...

I have confirmed that BOTH SAS (9.3) and my OFFICE 2016 are BOTH 32 - bit.

proc import file=specs out=formats dbms=excel replace;

range='formats';

getnames=yes;

scantext=yes;

run;

Now I am getting this error....Googling this problem people mention it occurs when you have different "bit" for SAS versus OFFICE...but both mine are 32 - bit...

Any other ideas?

It's possible a driver was accidentally deleted somehow.
