Why can't I add an abbreviation?

Good Morning Everybody!

I'm trying to add an abbreviation but it SAS doesn't seem to be taking it. Is it possible to have too many abbreviations/macros? Or maybe the text string is too long?

Hi @BTAinRVA,

According to http://www.sascommunity.org/wiki/Abbreviations/Macros the maximum number of keyboard macros/abbreviations is 400, but I haven't reached that limit yet.

I guess it is possible to have too many abbreviations/macros. I deleted one and was able to add a new one.

Everything has it's limitations I guess.
