Hi,

I am reading other person's code. Just want to know the difference between %uinput() and %input()?

ATOXGRC=%uput(ATOXGR, $atoxgr_c_r.);
ATOXGRN=%uinput(ATOXGRC, $atoxgrn_i.);

Thanks

%input is a macro statement whiich is part of the SAS macro language - I've never heard of %uinput so  I assume it's a macro someone else has written. http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/mcrolref/69726/HTML/default/viewer.htm#n1jspx1ctztpvzn1g...

There is no %INPUT() macro function. There is a %INPUT macro statement.

The %UPUT() and %UINPUT() macros used in your code are user defined.

You will need to look for the code that defined them in either in the program you are reading or in an autocall library of macro definitions that the program expects to use.
