An alternative approach would be to have an icon that users could click on, before they submit their post, which would bring up the "More Like This" menu (that we currently get to see after a user has submitted a post) and allow them to review the selections prior to submitting their question.  Isn't perfect, but I would guess that it would significantly reduce the number of redundant posts.
