This is the code that I am trying to run, but keep running into issues.
%macro banner;
ods region width=8.5in height=.75in x=0in y=0.001in;
goptions cback=&purplebanner;
proc gslide;
run;
quit;
run;
ods region width=3in height=.70in x=5.29in y=0.152in;
goptions cback=&purplebanner;
ODS PDF text="^S={just=right preimage='T:\STDGroup\Surveillance\Report\Programs\gray report\purple Logo.png'}";
ODS PDF text="^S={font=('Arial', 7pt, bold) just=right color=white} Office of Health and Epidemiology";
ods region width=11in height=.1in x=0in y=.75001in;
goptions cback=&bluebanner;
proc gslide;
run;
quit;
run;
%mend;
%banner;
This is the error message that I keep receiving: WARNING%3A REGION found but no LAYOUT open for the destination. Region will be ignored.
Well, I haven't seen that exact error before, but what ODS destination is open when the first ODS Region in the macro is performed? What happens if you put some kind of an ODS PDF statement before the first ODS Region? I'm not sure that this is the problem, but it's worth checking I think.

Thank you for your repy. I was unable to get it to work with the you suggested solution.
Instead, I found out that the code had been written with an older veersion of SAS and was able to use 9.3 to run the program succcessfully.
