Hello;
      I am new to SAS.  I am looking to validate some SAS code, to see if the syntax and all is correct.  How can I do this?  Please advise.

Thank you.

Your best choice is to download SAS Unversity Edition.

It will provide you with a fully working SAS software for your personal use.

Good luck,

Ahmed

The simplest method is to actually run the code and see what errors and warnings appear in the SASLOG.

I take it this needs to be done in the SAS editor?  How can I get a copy of the download for the SAS editor?

Thanx

Do note the restrictions with SAS UE. It can be used for learning purposes and basically almost anything that's non-commercial. If you're work is commercial related you need to purchase a SAS license.

Thank you.  It is for learning, as I am new to SAS, and wanted to see how it can help debug issues.
