Hello,

I need to find a way how to 'empty' a folder with many different named Excel files using SAS.

'Fdelete' does not work, as it works only for one file, but I have many...

Thanks 🙂

If the X command has not been disabled at your installation then

x "del c:\folder\subfolder\*.xlsx" ;

should delete all xlsx files in the target folder on a windows system

If you have groups of files will similar names you can use:

x "del c:\folder\subfolder\CommonNamePart*.xlsx"

or

x "del c:\folder\subfolder\*CommonNamePart.xlsx"
