I want to use a macro variable in place of directory name in dcreate function. Can you please let me know how to do it.
i use the following command :
data _null_;
newdirectory =dcreate(‘&mv.’, ‘pathname’);
run;
but instead of resolving that macro it creates new directory as &mv.
Put &mv. in double quotes 🙂
Make it a habit to use double quotes in code; use single quotes only when you explicitly need them to mask macro triggers.
