Hello

I have a sas file of 4345 lines of observations while it is written to me in the output that the total lines are 8386 (the difference are lines with dots). I do not understand what made it but my question is how to delete these lines

Thanks a lot for any help

Did you import the file from a text or excel file? If so, you'll want to fix that step so it imports correctly.

if you have a key variable you can check if that's present and delete otherwise.

If missing(key_var) then delete;
