To merge two columns under a single name

Hi all ,

i have a dataset with two variables. i want to merge two columns into a single one such that the second column will be subgroup for the first.

 color$            flower$;

yellow
red
red                 rose
yellow
white             jasmine
white             lilly
red
white
i want my final dataset to look like this ;
yellow
red
    rose
white
    jasmine
    lilly

please help...
