Here is the code i have this issue on lot of my programs. How do i resolve this i added ls =256.

ods excel options(sheet_name='test' absolute_column_width="20,8");
options nodate pageno=1 ps=60 ls=256;
proc report data=cloud.fruits;
run;
ods excel close;
ods listing close;

ERROR: The width of cloumn name is not between 1 and 256. Adjust the column width or line size.
NOTE: This affects LISTING output.

Which output do you actually want, Listing or ODS Excel?

That message is most likely related to the Listing destination. If you want ODS Excel then close the listing before opening the ODS Excel destination.
