Hi team,

I am getting below error. Can anyone please provide solution

NOTE: The client session encoding wlatin1 does not match the server session encoding utf-8. This may produce errors when moving
some character data. Search "SAS/CONNECT Encoding Compatibility" for details.

Regards

Kajal

Hello,

See here :

SAS® 9.4 and SAS® Viya® 3.5 Programming Documentation | SAS 9.4 / Viya 3.5
SAS/CONNECT
Encoding Compatibility between SAS/CONNECT Client and Server Sessions
https://go.documentation.sas.com/doc/en/pgmsascdc/9.4_3.5/connref/n1smv71b6303yen17kx46uxc0nxh.htm

If you are telling us what you are trying to accomplish, we can probably help you to circumvent that encoding issue.

Cheers,

Koen

Thanks @sbxkoenk actually I am trying to read data from one database and load it to another database.

Can you post the SAS log of the program producing the message please. Is your client session running on a PC or another server?
