How do I create a sas dataset from the final output of the code which is a teradata volatile table ?

Make sure to create a libref first and use connection=global.

Something like this.

libname tdwork teradata ..... dbmstemp=yes connection=global;
proc sql ;
connect using tdwork;
execute (
create volatile table xxx as
...
) by tdwork;
quit;
data work.want ;
 set tdwork.xxx ;
run;
