Tagging a discussion

Tags are useful for searching but sometimes when people post questions they have no idea of what they're looking for and right now they're the only ones able to tag questions.

Would it be possible to enable other users to tag discussions as well? Does anyone else think it would be useful?

Might be for some people.  I usually just use google to find the things I need.

I'd like to be able to tag others discussions as well.  Although like Doc I, too, typically use Google, I have found that unique tagging can serve to eliminate a lot of the noise.

community admins can tag other the posts of other people.  I don't know about one user tagging another user's posts.  As it happens, I am at a conference right now learning  more about this software.  I'm taking notes of all of your questions and will see what I can do to get them answered.
