Is it possible to format parts of a string differently when you use Dynamic Data Exchange(DDE)?

E.g. the string "abc" should be formatted "abc" in a cell in Excel. How can that be achieved?

create a vba macro to do it, and run that macro.
I don't do that kind of thing any more, but there will be archives with DDE techniques. Try google
