Specific Question-Merge

Hi Team,

I get a dataset by merging two datasets with Medical record Numbers.

Can i use the resultant dataset to merge with other dataset by bill  number??/

A single Medical record number can have several bill numbers associated with it

Yes.  Sounds like a one to many merge which can be done, easily, with either a datastep or proc sql.  If it is a many-to-many merge, you would want to do it with proc sql.
