The hash OUTPUT method will overwrite a SAS data set, but not append. That can be costly. Consider voting for Add a HASH object method which would append a hash object to an existing SAS data set

Would enabling PROC SORT to simultaneously output multiple datasets be useful? Then vote for
Allow PROC SORT to output multiple datasets

There's a reason why you should solve the problem. If we solve the problem for you, it just means one (or both) of those:

- you're too dumb

- you're too lazy

Have you read the specified file into a SAS data set for the first problem? What have you attempted? If there were errors post the code and errors from the log.
