Hello,
I'm using monthly data for 16 years. When I use the command SGPLOT. The horizontal axis is very crowded and cannot be read. Is there any way to make the horizontal axis readable?
ThankYou.
proc sgplot data=sashelp.air ;
series x=date y=air ;
xaxis fitpolicy=thin;
run;
proc sgplot data=sashelp.air ;
series x=date y=air ;
xaxis fitpolicy=thin;
run;
Thank you for your help.
Hello,
Can I ask one more question about SGPLOT? If I'd like to show only January of each year on the X-Axis, how could I do that?
Thank You.
proc sgplot data=sashelp.air ;
series x=date y=air ;
xaxis fitpolicy=thin values=('01jan1950'd to '01jan1958'd by year)
valuesformat=date9.;
run;
Thank You.
You might also want to examine what happens if change the FORMAT for your YEAR variable. Such as
proc sgplot data=sashelp.air ; series x=date y=air ; format date year4.; run; /* or */ proc sgplot data=sashelp.air ; series x=date y=air ; format date yyq6. ; run;
Thank You.
