Hello,
is there a notion a macro variable scope ( global/local) when we are on a remote session?
Example:
on a local session i have to declare global macro variable (%global) to be able to use it out of the macro where it was created then i'm using %syslput to send this macro variable on a remote session. do i need to declare a global macro variable on server like:
rsubmit;
%global macro_variable_name
endrsubmit;
thx,
Remote sessions have the local and global scope for macro variables.
If you want a macro variable to have a global scope on the remote session, then I think you have to declare it as %GLOBAL.
Thx a lot for your reply
