I realy don't know the answer and need to reach out to a broader audience for help.

One of Our SAS users has a piece of code written in T-SQL. He wants us to Schedule it on SAS server. What can be pros and cons here? What to expect?

For some databases we are using a availability Groups, and when some of the users run queries agains these databases using pass-though, users will be routed to the wrong instance and Lock the database.

The T-SQL code should be run inside an explicit pass-through query.

The SAS code that encapsulates the native SQL code can then be scheduled as any other SAS code.

The connection parameters should specify which database the code is running against.
