Sas programming 2

in my e-learning, there are two sas programming 2: data manipulation technique links (one released this month and the other retiring feb. '19). Do they overlap a lot or should I go over both in detail? 

 

Also, i was told by a sas instructor that most of the things I need to know for the base programming exam are in the programming 2 link. Is that correct?

No, just go through the most current one.
