I am using the SAS Enterprise Guide, however, upon encountering an error that informs that a Local Server was not found and no metadata profile is being used, without it I can not run. The message ends by asking if I want to create my profile information. Since I already have a profile created in SAS with, how should I fill out the information below
This can happen if your login to the metadata server failed (server down, wrong credentials) and the existing metadata profile was deactivated. In the previous screen, ciick the "modify" button and see if there's a profile to activate.
There is no profile to activate. My company's IT said that only the responsible area can put me in the network libnames, but since I only enter the area in 1 month, I thought of creating some local profile so that I can still do some learning (by doing some programming).
To use the "Local" server it must be there, meaning that you need a Windows SAS installation (licensed) on your desktop.
EG on its own can't do anything.
Good news: We've extended SAS Hackathon registration until Sept. 12, so you still have time to be part of our biggest event yet – our five-year anniversary!
