Hi SAS users,
Need help to clear the SCAN error. 'all_exclusions' macro variable has 30 variables with comma delimiter inbetween and 'temp_exclusions' has 30 variables.
%Do i = 1 %to &count;
%LET exclusion1 = %scan(&all_exclusions,&i, ',');
%LET exclusion2 = %scan(&temp_exclusions,&i, ',');
%if %upcase(&exclusion1) = Y %then %Do; %let ...............%End;
%END;
Thanks,
Ana
Try quoting the delimiter for the compiler to deal with resolving delimiter commas as plain text and not an argument separator for the function
%LET exclusion1 = %scan(%bquote(&all_exclusions),&i,%str(,));
%LET exclusion2 = %scan(%bquote(&temp_exclusions),&i,%str(,));
