Hi Folks:

I noticed that several cities in 4 provinces in South Korea found in Korean census was not included in mapsgfk.south_korea data.

This can cause an inconsistency to those trying to define spatial matrix. I wonder if more complete map in SAS than mapsgfk.south_korea?

Thank you.

Try the South Korea map download here:

https://support.sas.com/rnd/datavisualization/mapsonline/html/updates.html

Not sure if it's already updated in the SAS data. Another option would be to see if South Korea itself has an open data portal with maps. The spatial files are usually separately stored compared to the data files for census.

@Reeza

Oops, I don't know what my site number is. My SAS is provided by my institution. It's Sunday. Oh no. But, thank you. I'll try when I get to know of the site number.

When you start SAS it's at the top of your log or run the following and find it in your log under Site number.

proc setinit;run;

Hi @Reeza

I found 4 additional cities in the gfk_south_korea_jan2014 as shown. But I don't know yet, whether all cities avail in mapsgfk.south_korea will be found in gfk_south_korea_jan2014.
