Hello experts,

In sas dataset, there is two type of variables : Numeric and Char.

So, in sas dataset, the type of Dynamic variable- it's stored the numric and char, the type is given by observation -, does it existe in sas ?

What's the pros ? and cons ? Could you explain the principle behind the dynamic type ?

VAR would have to be defined as character to cope with both character and numeric values. There is no such thing as a "dynamic" variable type in SAS.
