SAS Viya/SAS Studio — how to convert code to lower case?

I am using SAS Studio in SAS Viya 4, I want to convert a block of code to all lower case. For 110% clarity, I am asking how to convert CODE to lower case, I am not asking how to convert the value of data set variables to lower case. Is there a way to do this, or do I have to use other editors such as Notepad++?

I did find a PDF about SAS/Studio that claims that Ctrl-Shift-U should toggle between uppercase/lowercase/propercase but when I try it in SAS Viya, it doesn't do anything.

Google was not helpful, it pointed me to the LOWCASE command.

I found that these keys are not assigned by default, perhaps because the intuitive options are used by other functions (either in Studio or commonly in the web browser).

You can change the Key assignments by opening the mapping window. Click the key map widget (bottom right of the editor screen) to get started.

This shows a searchable list of all mapping assignments. Click Manage Keyboard Shortcuts from that window.

You can search for "case" and find the functions you need, and assign new keys. Note that some combos get usurped by the browser, so you might need to experiment.

Thanks, that works! Is there a web page that shows ALL keyboard shortcuts that exist by default in SAS Viya/SAS Studio?

Adding: I tried asking Copilot after I asked the question here, however Copilot did not come up with the solution from @ChrisHemedinger , maybe if I try copilot again tomorrow it will find it.

I asked Copilot again today, and it insisted (several times) there was no way to do this in the SAS Viya interface. I suppose there are many things that AI can do well, but I have no confidence when I ask it SAS questions.

As SAS Viya Copilot gets more capabilities in your SAS Viya deployments, you'll be able to find the answers directly by asking in the SAS interfaces themselves! SAS documentation and other sources are used to train the models you can chat with.

If I click on your link, I get taken to a rather unhelpful page, where there are apparently videos and articles for all different interfaces of SAS Viya, but none for SAS/Studio in SAS Viya.

Hi Paige -- yes, it's coming. Viya Copilot gets new features with each release, and SAS Studio features are planned for later this year. Maybe just bookmark this for later. If using Visual Analytics or Model Studio, you can see the experience now, which combines the ability to ask questions (sourced from doc) as well as take actions (build models, VA dashboards, etc.). Over time, Viya Copilot is expanding to more of the Viya apps.
