what is SAS Views how to create and drop and uses like SAS Indexes
A view is a virtual table. It contains no data but is a view port to data, it points to data. As such it cannot be indexed. The underlying table(s) can be indexed.
They can be created just like tables. Here's the syntax:
data MYTABLE MYVIEW / view=MYVIEW;
proc sql; create view MYVIEW as select ...
