SAS Version Upgradation

Hi,

we are planning to upgrade sas version from 9.3 to 9.4  on Unix Machine.  The up gradation is planned on the same machine.We have predominantly SAS EG , DI Studio and SAS Management Console tools in the system

What should be our strategy for this  and any pre requisites/precautions in this case.

I would much rather set up 9.4 on a new server, and transfer the services only once the function of the new server has been verified.
