Hi,
Is there a way to save by programming a SAS Studio log after run?
I am thinking about some kind of work around that simulate SAS DM statement.
Thanks,
Hassan
There are several ways to do something like this. You can use the ALTLOG System Option in the .cgf file at startyp or you can use PROC PRINTTO to route the log to some external file.
Thanks for your answer, But:
- I cannot use ALTLOG because I do not have administrative access and I am programming in controlled SAS grid env.
- Concerning PROC PRINTTO, it is not suitable for my case because I am migrating some codes where the run must be interactive (the user need to see the log and in the same time the log get saved and processed in the same run. I use to do this in SAS PC local using statement like DM log 'file "mylogfilePath" replace ' log;
