Hello,

I am interested in taking the SAS Statistical Business Analyst exam. In the FAQs section it states that a base programming certification is required for advanced programming exams. Do I need to take the base exam prior to taking the Statistical Business Analyst exam? Or are there any other prerequisites?

Thank you

Hi: The Base Programmer certification is NOT required. However, the recommended preparation for the Statistical Business Analyst exam is Statistics 1 (which recommends the level of knowledge you'd have learned from taking Programming 1) and Predictive Modeling using Logistic Regression (which recommends the level of knowledge from Statistics 1 and Programming 2). Most of the candidates for this exam will have studied Programming 1 and Programming 2 before attempting these classes. They may not hold the Base Programmer Certification, but they will have studied Programming 1 and Programming 2 at some point.
But to answer your original question, there is no requirement that you hold the Base Programmer certification credential. But we would expect you to have Programming 1 and Programming 2 level of knowledge and SAS usage before you attempt Statistics 1 and Predictive Modeling using Logistic Regression to prepare for the Statistical Business Analyst exam.

Getting certified as a SAS Statistical Business Analyst sounds like a solid move if you're into data crunching. As for prerequisites, yeah, having a knack for numbers and stats helps. But don't sweat it if you're not a math whiz – SAS skills can be learned.

By the way, have you heard about using crm for facebook messenger? It's like keeping tabs on your chat game and seeing what's hot with your customers. Super handy if you're into online biz!

Anyway, back to SAS – if you're down to dive into statistical analysis and love playing with data to uncover insights, this cert could be your ticket to some serious career mojo. Plus, having SAS on your resume can open doors to cool gigs in analytics and beyond.
