I am new to SAS Programming and while coding i am unable to understand how does my Program write to the SAS drive. I have provided the location in my program but how does the SAS EG or scheduler connect back to drive and write to the location i have specified.

Enterprise Guide does not write to the SAS server, it instructs the SAS session running on the server to do the write. When EG transfers data to the server, your SAS session acts as a kind of file server for EG.
