Hello,

I need help here. I have a column that contains names, separated by space.I am trying to count the names.

I have tried Scan function but that returns the nth word from a character string.

scan(name, 1, ' ') as first_name , scan(name, 2, ' ') as second_name

Data have:

Name

HEID LILIAN MARTINEZ SANCHEZ

GIRALDO MONTO ANGELA

Data Want:

Name                                                     Count

HEID LILIAN MARTINEZ SANCHEZ       4

GIRALDO MONTO ANGELA                   3

Thanks for looking !
