Good morning, everyone. Could someone please help me? We use SAS EG 7.1 in our company. We have automations that execute the process flow on schedule using the Windows Task Manager, utilizing a Python script that encapsulates the execution of the VBS script generated by SAS. The problem we are facing is that the exported datasets from the process flow are generated with sizes equal to 2KB, like corrupted files. These datasets are exported directly to the network from the exports within the process flow itself. Does anyone know how I can solve this export problem? When SAS runs in the foreground, we never have the issue of exporting with 2KB, but when it runs in the background via the scheduler, the problem is recurrent and somewhat random.

Thank you in advance.

How closely have you looked at the LOGS? Were the sources of the files to be exported created? The expected sizes? Warnings about anything?

From your description we can't tell what size is expected for the exported files, whether you have examined them to see if they have any content, if the content is correct or short.

You may need to very closely examine all of your system settings when running the jobs. This sounds like it may be using BATCH settings which can differ from interactive sessions.
