Dear all,
I have a variables A and B in date formats (mmyyn6.). Now in a datastep I have a code that looks like this:
I know this is not correct but can any one help
data want;
set have
if A >= 'Nov2000'd and B<= 'Dec2010'd;
run;
Dates must be represented in the following form:
'01JAN2022'd
and not any other form (except that lower case letters are allowed). So, inside the quotes, the day of the month (2 digits) comes first, followed by three letter month, followed by four digit year.
So you may want this:
data want;
set have
if a >= '01Nov2000'd and b <= '31Dec2010'd;
run;
See Date, Time, and Datetime Constants for the correct format of date constants (literals).
