SAS is on Unix server and you want the Unix server to connect to a windows server. Is that correct?

Yes. Foundation SAS is also required for SAS/CONNECT to work. Both products would be needed on both servers.

Since you can connect from one server to the other, you have all the products you need.

Start a spawner in the Windows box and you'll be able to connect to it from Unix.
