I have 5+ years experience with SAS BASE and currently held SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9. I have experience in SAS procedures, SAS/SQL, SAS/MACRO, and reporting writing with ODS. I plan to retire from the government by the end of 2019. I wonder how is job market this day? How much should I expect to be paid?
Thank You.
that's a good question, but hard to answer without more specifies related to what you are looking for in your retirement.
Why give up a good job to retire and look for another one?

Perhaps to retire from a government job, draw a pension and work for a second salary. => LOTS more $$$ than a government job alone.
