Hi,
I did SAS training (SAS Programming 1,2 & 3) in 2015 / 2016 and received a lot of SAS authorised course notes.
In my attempt to brush up on my SAS I enrolled for the free e-learning course SAS Programming 1: Essentials so that I could get the SAS data creation script that I don't have from my course anymore.
Surprise, surprise, when I ran the createdata.sas from the e-learning course the course practice files are completely different from the ones in my authorised course notes from SAS.
The new createdata.sas creates files for storms etc.
However, the older cre8data.sas file would create datasets that I could use in conjunction with my SAS course notes.
The previous cre8data.sas file creates data files for a company called Orion.
If someone could attach this file (cre8data.sas) to your reply to my post I would be very thankful.
Cheers,
Sandesh

You can contact SAS learning, learning@sas.com training@sas.com and they can provide you with the script. Otherwise I believe (could be wrong) that's copyright materials that cannot be shared freely.
I would recommend doing the new course because SAS has changed and learning the new updated version would make sense. They have revamped the materials significantly to update the course to more practical items - ie not as much focus on reading text files and more on cleaning data. There's also a free SAS training course on Coursera.
EDIT: fixed email address

Hi:
Reeza is correct, if you send mail to training@sas.com, we will verify your enrollment and will send you the appropriate files or links to the files if we can.
Cynthia
Thanks Cynthia, I have sent an email to training@sas.com and will let you know if they are able to help.
